Preamble
Curricula vitæ are résumé-like summaries of academic careers. However, because “curriculum vitæ” is Latin for “course of life,” and because I am an interdisciplinarian, I’ve decided to include information relevant to my entire creative and professional life even if it is unrelated to academia. I advise you to keep account of your lives in such a way on your own websites. Notch every win, even if it is small or nobody else cares. If you do creative work, keeping a record of your life’s doings will help when imposter syndrome, depression, and self-doubt creep in; reviewing a list of your achievements might dispel the clouds when they gather. The CV is for you, not for anyone else. It is to remind you where you’ve been; it is to remind you that you’re marching towards that place where you want to go. This curriculum vitæ is current as of 23 August 2023.
